Covid 19 Policy

​

Current BC government guidelines do not specify mandatory vaccination and presenting proof at outdoor events, however we strongly encourage participants and spectators to be double vaccinated in order to avoid any potential issues should government health orders become more strict.  

​

If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, please choose to stay home.

​

Most common symptoms:

  • fever

  • cough

  • tiredness

  • loss of taste or smell

 

Less common symptoms:

  • sore throat

  • headache

  • aches and pains

  • diarrhoea

  • a rash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes

  • red or irritated eyes

 

Serious symptoms:

  • difficulty breathing or shortness of breath

  • loss of speech or mobility, or confusion

  • chest pain

What are the event hours?

​

Races start at 8 am. Podiums take place at the end of racing for all categories and the venue closes at 6pm. Please refer to the Race Schedule for details.

 

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter Bear Crossing?

​

This event is open to spectators of all ages. This is a spectator-friendly event. Weather conditions can change quickly so please be prepared for cold / wet weather conditions.   The event will have a designated licensed beer garden area which will only be available to legal drinking age of 19+.   ID's will be verified at the Beer Garden.  

 

What are my transport/parking options getting to Bear Crossing?

Depending where you are coming from there are many options. Transit, ride share, and cabs are typically available in the area. Bicycle Parking Valet will be made available.  Vehicle Public Parking is available at designated areas.  

​

What can't I bring to Bear Crossing?

​

Backpacks are subject to search.  No outside alcohol is allowed on property and will be confiscated at the Gates.

​

Are pets allowed?

 

While we love pets, NO PETS ARE PERMITTED IN THE VENUE. Please leave all pets, including dogs and cats, at home.  They will not be allowed to enter the park.
