BROAD STREET CYCLES BLACKOUT CX

Adult Riders are eligible to participate in the “Broad Street Cycles Blackout CX” race on Friday November 24, and only require a provincial license (NON-UCI) or FOR BC RESIDENTS ONLY, may purchase a 1 Day Racing License through Cycling BC

Youth are eligible to participate in the U13 / U15 / U17 races which take place on Friday November 24, and only require a provincial license (NON-UCI) or FOR BC RESIDENTS ONLY, may purchase a 1 Day Racing License through Cycling BC

(For BC Residents) to purchase a full year-round racing license, visit Cycling BC at https://cyclingbc.net/membership/registration/

Participants with no license may purchase a one day license at the race headquarters during package pickup.​

LAZER CANADIAN CYCLOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS
All championship category athletes must be in possession of a valid UCI/Cycling Canada international license. (Elite, U23, U19, U17, Masters

- REGISTRATION AGE OF PARTICPANT IS AGE ON DECEMBER 31, 2024

All participants must be prepared to present their license upon demand at the event

All participants must be licensed to compete in the appropriate discipline

Domestic licenses from other countries or within Canada are not permitted for Championship categories

No one-day event licenses will be sold for the Championship Categories, but will be available for challenge races

License must be presented during race package pickup

To be able to participate and race in all categories, including UCI recognized Championship categories, riders must be either a Canadian citizen (including dual citizenships), permanent resident, landed immigrant or an individual with refugee status. Proof of citizenship or residence may be required (passport, permanent resident card, landed immigrant status or refugee status papers)

Eligibility to compete for the Canadian champion title/podium/points/medals: Only Canadian Citizens (“Cat Nat: CAN” as listed on their UCI license) will have access to the Canadian Champion title, Canadian Championships podium positions, UCI points and Canadian Championship medals

Should a non-citizen (permanent resident, landed immigrant or individual with refugee status) place amongst the top three overall finishers in the race category, a podium presentation will take place based on order of finish of the race and a second podium presentation based on the Canadian Championships results of eligible Canadian citizens will follow

Proof of residence may be required (this includes driver’s license, permanent resident card).

TREK UCI C2 BEAR CROSSING GRAND PRIX

UCI & National Challenge category athletes must be in possession of a valid UCI/Cycling Canada license. (Elite, Masters, U17 & U19)​

Non-Citizen participants must be in possession of a valid international UCI License to participate in any category.
Covid 19 Policy
As recommended by BC Health Authority/Viasport guidelines for COVID-19, we are advising participants to perform a health check prior to the event and not attend if they are feeling unwell and experiencing the associated symptoms of Covid-19. We recommend that participants and spectators to be fully vaccinated in order to mitigate the risks of exposure while travelling / gathering in large groups at the event, and the consequent potential for serious illness.

Parking
NOTE THAT PAY PARKING IS IN EFFECT FOR FRIDAY NOVEMBER 24 FROM 9AM TO 5:30PM

DO NOT PARK IN STALLS MARKED "RESERVED" OR IN AREAS CORDONED OFF
For Saturday November 25 and Sunday November 26, parking will be free. Vehicle Parking is available for both participants and spectators at the Vancouver Island Technology Park (VITP) in addition to parking at Layritz Park and Camosun Collenge. See Map. Parking attendants will be onhand to help direct traffic to available areas. Note that some areas will be closed off so that they remain accessible to VITP employees and staff.
